New release by Cousin Silas on Earthrid

Earthrid is pleased to bring you a new release of of moody and evocative electronic music by Cousin Silas.

Available now for free download and on a limited edition mini-CDR, The Melting Static is the complete set recorded for the radio show Phantom Circuit.

The Melting Static is a memento of one of the show’s highlights and shows facets of Cousin Silas’s sound that may surprise you.

Yes, at long last we will be releasing something! Shortly we will be offering you a free download of a new EP by Cousin Silas entitled The Melting Static. This is a set of music originally recorded for the internet radio show Phantom Circuit, and we know you will enjoy it.

There will also be a short run of mini-CDRs of the album available for purchase. These will be in short supply so please contact us immediately if you are interested.

HTML time

The Earthrid site is being streamlined and improved. The new version will be more concise and a little prettier and will integrate better with future developments.

The upshot of this is countless hours of debugging HTML code and donkey work like that. Oh well. We will get there… and before too much longer!

CD prices cut

We’ve reduced the prices of all our CDs. Those that cost £7.50 are now available (until further notice) for £5 (that’s under US$10 or a little over €6). The release that got Earthrid started, Vestigial Digital by Carya Amara, is available for just £3!

Postage and packing is £1 ($2), to any destination, for any number of CDs.

New CD nearly ready!

A new release from Earthrid is now imminent. The final touches are being made to the audio mastering and the design of the packaging but we like to get these things just right, so keep watching this space.

Most of the postings here are off-topic and trivial, but we like to bring you news when we have it – and we will have news soon! To this end, an “Earthrid news” category has been created here, and thanks to the wonders of WordPress, that means that a news-only RSS feed is available.
